Hi, I’m Luca Tartara.

Sports have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, playing lacrosse and other sports wasn’t just about competition—it was about learning teamwork, building confidence, and finding a sense of purpose. Sports have taught me discipline, resilience, and how to overcome challenges both on and off the field.

 

But the truth is, not every kid gets the chance to experience the incredible benefits of sports. Some families can’t afford the equipment, and that’s why I created GEAR UP FOR GOOD.

I started this initiative because I believe every child deserves the opportunity to play, grow, and succeed through sports. By collecting gently used or new athletic gear, we can make a real difference in the lives of underprivileged youth. All donations will be delivered to the Boys & Girls Club, where they’ll go directly to kids who need them most.
